Waiting Area

A devoted space for examination according to the word of God.

Since becoming a Christian, I have been led by the Holy Spirit to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in the faith through Bible studies, Sunday school, church services, and even in conversations. Yet, while in those spaces, grief came over me so much so that I wept and prayed earnestly. There’s a great deal of suffering in the church as well as a lack of belief among believers, an absence of true reverence for God, and arrogance that fills the hearts of those who profess faith. I am concerned for us all. To witness believers in such conditions, being fed false doctrines that keep them deceived and in bondage, it’s no surprise we struggle to preach the good news of Christ to unbelievers and fulfill the Great Commission commanded by Jesus. There’s power in the name of Jesus, but somewhere along the walk, we’ve lost faith to even believe that people on the streets can be healed in His name. Scripture tells us that those who persevere to the end will be saved. I want us to make it to the end. But to do so, we must return to Scripture and fully live out God’s instructions as we prepare for Jesus’ second coming.
